With stunning natural landscape, Myrkdalen is a must for visitors to Norway there is so much to admire as you make your way down the slopes. One of Norway's largest western resorts, the quiet open pistes create a welcoming atmosphere where beginners will soon benefit from the expert local instruction to progress onto blues and reds. There are only a couple of black runs but plenty of off-piste terrain to explore. Most of the accommodation is located close to the runs so you'll be one of the first on the slopes every morning.
The resort centre has a few shops for your weekly needs and a good selection of bars and restaurants. Activities include horse-drawn carriage rides, cross-country skiing, dog sledding and floodlit skiing.
