Hafjell

Hafjell is the largest Alpine facility in Lillehammer Ski Resorts, and is located just north of Lillehammer. The snow conditions are very stable, and the staff at the facility have considerable snow-technical expertise going back to the successful Lillehammer Olympic Games in 1994. A snow production system covers 17km of slopes, ensuring a good snow base and a long sesong until end of April. Hafjell Alpine Centre offers ski slopes both in forest terrain, sheltered by wind and inclement weather and in high mountain terrain up part the timberline, with spectacular views. In all, Hafjell offers 25km and the longest slope at the facility is 5km long. There is a wide range of slopes for different levels of skiing proficency. The slopes at Hafjell offer challenges for young and old. There is also a snowboard park, Trollclub, child care centre, activities programme, ski school, events calender, as well as a number of after-ski hot spots to choose from.
