The Remarkables
Overview
The Remarkables ski area is 45 mins drive from Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world. From the slopes there are spectacular views of the surrounding area, particularly Lake Ohau.
The skiing is considerably higher than the skiing at sister resort, Coronet Peak. The slopes are steeper and more sheer and so need more snow. However there is an award winning ski school and an excellent area for beginners.
Multi Day Lift Passes are available for use at Mt Hutt, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables.
