Stoneham Mountain
Overview
Spread over four mountains, in the heart of the Laurentian range, Stoneham Mountain Resort is a picturesque winter escape, just 20 minutes north of Québec City. Claiming to be the “brightest resort in Canada”, Stoneham prides itself on its exceptional night-skiing facilities. It also claims to have one of Canada's best terrain parks, that includes two half-pipes and a boardercross course. There are 30 trails of varying difficulty interconnecting the mountains, 80% of which are intermediate and expert runs. Nine lifts, four of which are high-speed quads, keep the traffic at the bases to a minimum.
Stoneham is a great all-inclusive resort that provides a variety of activities and services to its guests. Its size and location are impressive – the longest run is 3.2km. The slopes are challenging and diverse enough to allow skiers and boarders to explore the terrain for several days without too much repetition.
