The nearest ski lift is the Sunnegga funicular (approx. 500 metres walk from the hotel)
300 metres to Gornergrat railway station
90 metres to local supermarket
There is a regular ski bus which runs around the resort, this is free with a valid lift pass.
Apartments
All rooms have a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, induction hob, kettle, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. They also have hairdryer and safe.
Studio North room -sleeps 2- are 30m² and have a shower, WC, seating area, and North facing balcony.
Studio South room -sleeps 2-3- shower, WC, seating area with a single sofa bed and a South facing balcony.
Two Room Apartment -sleeps 2-4- are 46m², double sofa bed when booked for four and a South facing balcony.
Facilities
Guests have use of the wellness area with heated indoor salt water pool, sauna, steam bath at the Hotel Acra. Children under 15 years old are not allowed in the wellness/pool area.

About Zermatt
Zermatt skiing
Zermatt, according to some reporters, is as near as anywhere to perfection, so long as you are an intermediate or advanced skier. With vast and varied skiing that extends via a link with Cervinia into Italy, along with awesome scenery, Zermatt really is a great resort. Let's be honest, there are better choices for complete beginners, but Zermatt DOES have beginners' slopes and a very good ski school, so don't believe those who will try telling you it's not possible to learn to ski here.
The more experienced skiers will love the 400+km of pistes and complete snow guarantee that comes with the high altitude. The Klein Matterhorn cable car is Europe's highest ski lift station at 3,820m. Ski over into Italy for a cruise around Cervinia's well maintained slopes, before heading back to the Hennustall for an apres ski beer or three!

With amazing restaurants both on and off the mountain, a beautiful town that is traffic free apart from the electric taxis and great nightlife to suit all tastes, life down in resort isn't too shabby either.
