Even during peak periods, the resort maintains a calm, family-friendly atmosphere, with a strong connection to the surrounding natural landscape. For more experienced skiers, there are also a handful of steeper runs to keep things interesting. There’s plenty of time to make the most of the slopes too. Lifts open as early as 7:30am on some mornings, and selected runs stay open under the lights until 6pm. Plus, your lift pass includes a day’s skiing in nearby Kläppen, giving you even more terrain to explore. Getting here is easy, with just a 20-minute transfer from the airport. Once you arrive, everything is within easy walking distance — from the supermarket and ski hire to bars with live music and the slopes themselves. With ski-in, ski-out accommodation throughout, the whole resort feels compact, convenient and hassle-free. Off the slopes, the Vattufjäll is the hub for relaxation and развлечения, featuring a pool, sauna and bowling alley. You can also try classic winter activities like snowmobile safaris and dog sledding, all set against stunning Scandinavian scenery. Top tip: Stöten is largely cash-free, so it’s best to use a debit or credit card. Some smaller independent businesses may still accept cash, but card payments are the norm.
