Overview
The Olarsgården Hotel has been welcoming guests since the 1940s, so making you feel at home is something they know well. With its dark wood cabin-style exterior and authentic, cosy atmosphere, it’s full of Swedish charm. And when it’s time to hit the slopes, the Fasanen lift is just a short stroll away, making those mornings on the mountain nice and easy.
The homely feel continues in the rooms, with deep brown and warm terracotta tones complemented by old ski photos and vintage touches, including sledges from times gone by. When it’s time to unwind, the sauna is the perfect spot to relax, while the bar is ideal for catching up over a drink – and you might even find some live music playing.
Come morning, the buffet breakfast has all the essentials, from eggs, bacon and waffles to cereals, yoghurts and pastries. Then, for dinner, head to Elgen Restaurant to discover the flavours of the Dalarna region, with local specialities featuring everything from deer to foraged mushrooms and wild berries.

Rooms
All rooms are non-smoking and have a TV and hairdryer. Communal tea or coffee-making facilities and a fridge are available in the hallway.
Double room (approx. 24m²) – sleeps 1-2: Double bed, private shower and WC.
Family room – sleeps 2-4: Split-level room with double bed, two single beds on the upper level, private shower and WC.
Cots are available to hire, free of charge, on request.
