A real highlight is the hotel’s connection to Aquapark Bohinj, a fantastic leisure complex designed for all-out relaxation and fun. You’ll find multiple pools, hot tubs, waterslides and even climbing walls. Your stay also includes a free visit to the Sauna Park, where you can unwind in four different saunas. For an extra treat, head to the Panorama Wellness area, complete with a sun terrace, massage facilities and an indoor pool with sweeping views. Back at the hotel, there’s even more to enjoy, including a bowling alley and cinema which are perfect for easy-going evenings.

When it’s time to ski, the bus stops just outside and takes you straight to the slopes of Vogel Ski Resort. After a day in the mountains, head back to refuel with a hearty half-board buffet, then round things off with a relaxed drink at the bar.

About Bohinj

If it’s your first ski trip, the Vogel Ski Resort in Bohinj is a great choice. Set high above Slovenia’s largest lake, it offers around 22km of gentle pistes, with wide-open runs and scenic wooded trails that are ideal for building confidence. And wherever you go, you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking views of Triglav National Park.

The resort is spread across several charming villages, nestled between pine-covered mountains and the shores of Lake Bohinj. Ribčev Laz is the closest to the cable car – just a quick 10-minute ride on the free ski bus. For a wider choice of hotels and restaurants, you might prefer Bohinjska Bistrica or Bohinj Jezero, both a little further along the valley.

Wherever you base yourself, evenings here are all about taking things easy. Round off your ski day with a drink at the Macesen Bar at the foot of the Vogel cable car, then head back to your hotel for a relaxing sauna or swim, followed by a laid-back evening of good food and wine.
