Location

Sat in the middle of the main street in Upper Hirafu Village there are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars within easy striking distance. The slopes are 200m up the road and there's a shuttle bus if you don't fancy walking - it's easier on the way home as it's slightly downhill.

All rooms at Chalet Ivy have hairdryers, TV, safe, complimentary bottled water, tea and coffee with kettle, bathrobes and toiletries.

Superior Room

Superior rooms have twin beds and a small seating area with balcony. The ensuite has a bath tub.

About Niseko

Niseko is known for the large amount of light powder snow (an average of 14m per ski season), and is the most famous ski resort in Japan. It is also one of the largest, with many different ski trails catering to all levels. There are plenty of groomed runs that are ideal for families, beginners and intermediates. But there is also the added option of back country skiing for those who love powder snow. Plus, for the more adventurous, there are possibilities to do CAT skiing, and Heli-skiing.

Located 100km southwest of Sapporo, Niseko consists of three major resorts: Grand Hirafu; Niseko Village; and Annupuri. All three are located on Mount Niseko-Annupuri, and are joined together at the top of the mountain. It is also possible to ski between them, and travel to them via shuttle buses at their respective bases. The Niseko All Mountain Pass gives access to all three resorts.

Niseko also has quite a diverse range of activities that do not involve skiing, for the free-time left after skiing on the slopes, and a good range of restaurants and eateries. This is one of the reasons that Niseko won Japan’s Best Ski Resort for four years in a row, along with other awards.
