Overview
Hotel Tyrol offers an easy and convenient way onto the slopes, with the Nives drag lift just a few minutes’ walk away. From there, a short continuation lift leads you to the Dantercepies 1 gondola, giving you quick access to the wider ski area and the famous Dolomiti Superski terrain.
After a day in the mountains, the hotel’s spa provides a luxurious place to unwind, with an outdoor pool that looks out over snow-covered peaks, alongside a sauna and a range of spa treatments designed for post-ski relaxation.
Dining is a standout feature, with evening meals served in the TyRestaurant. Guests enjoy refined four-course dinners created by the hotel’s Michelin-starred chef, blending South Tyrolean specialities with Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. A well-curated wine cellar adds to the experience, offering plenty of choice to complement each meal.

Selva Gardena skiing
Selva is near enough joined to neighbouring Santa Cristina, together making up the largest resort on the Sella Ronda circuit with 175km of runs. It's a big domain with a highly efficient lift system, 120km of snowmaking coverage, great scenery and generally good value. Once on the slopes, intermediates will be in their element Experts might be best heading to Arabba for decent challenges, but beginners should find enough to play with. The downside, however, is that long lift journeys are required to get at the very best Sella Ronda slopes.
Selva Gardena ski resort
The resort itself is quite sprawling and there can be quite a lot of traffic. However, Selva boasts a wide range of accommodation, good après-ski and great restaurants both on and off the mountain.
