About Madonna di Campiglio
Madonna di Campiglio offers 150km of scenic ski slopes, with wide, tree-lined runs through wooded valleys and higher-altitude pistes surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. The resort is particularly well suited to intermediate skiers, thanks to its abundance of well-groomed runs, while beginners can build confidence in the dedicated nursery area just outside the village. More experienced skiers can take on the challenge of Monte Spinale, which is home to the resort's steepest downhill run.
The village combines excellent skiing with classic Italian style and charm. Designer boutiques, elegant cafés and stylish bars surround the main piazza, where afternoons are often spent enjoying a spritz in the sunshine rather than rushing back onto the slopes. Après-ski here is relaxed and refined, focusing on aperitifs, antipasti and terrace dining, while evenings tend to be quieter, with visitors returning to their hotels for leisurely Italian dinners.
Away from the slopes, there are plenty of ways to spend your time. Shopping and people-watching are popular pastimes, while those looking for something more adventurous can try ice climbing on frozen waterfalls or enjoy a tandem paragliding flight over the surrounding mountains. With a combination of varied skiing, sophisticated village life and memorable off-slope experiences, Madonna di Campiglio offers an enjoyable winter holiday for a wide range of visitors.
