Hotel La Majun is simply the perfect hotel for skiers and the ideal retreat for food lovers or for those looking to relax and leave any kind of stress behind. The hotel offers 38 very comfortable, restful, bright and spacious rooms. From basic for two people up to Suite Mountain view for two, three or four people. This intimate Hotel is situated in a strategic place surrounded by picturesque mountains and unrivalled panoramas in the quaint little Ladin Village of La Villa right in the midst of the paradisiac Dolomites (UNESCO World Nature Heritage Site). La Majun is ideally placed at the foot of the famous black run Gran Risa, theatre each December of one of the most spectacular weekends of the skiing World Cup circuit for Slalom and Giant Slalom races, and just steps away from the Piz La Ila gondola (the infamous Après bar of Moritzino is located just at the top of the lift), and the centre of the village with its bars, and lovely restaurants.

About La Villa/Stern

La Villa is in the Alta Badia ski area, which is lift-linked into the Sella Ronda circuit at Colfosco and Corvara. It can be a bit of a long haul to get onto the bigger circuit. The Alta Badia area has 130km of runs that best cater to beginners and intermediates. La Villa is an attractive village in a lovely valley position, with top scenery, but the snow can be unreliable. It makes a great base for accessing the local area, but to complete the Sella Ronda circuit can take a while. There can also be crowds at weekends, as people flood in from the major north Italian cities.
