Overview
The Miramonti is a uniquely located hotel in La Thuile, built on a stone platform above the Dora river, giving it a distinctive setting close to the town centre and the surrounding mountains. It offers easy access to the slopes, with a 10-minute walk or a convenient bus stop right outside the hotel for those who prefer not to walk.
The exterior is a bright sunshine yellow, standing out against the snowy alpine landscape, while the interior has a light, traditional alpine style with natural wood, stone, and handcrafted furnishings. One of its standout features is the Dora Restaurant and Café, where rustic décor, stone archways, and large windows create a warm, atmospheric dining space with views towards the ski slopes.
Breakfast is served buffet-style with a wide selection of hot and cold options, while evenings feature a four-course dinner. After dining, guests can relax in the lounge with a drink from the bar, often by the fire.

Nursery (6 months - 3 years) is run by the team of childcare professionals and held in a dedicated room in the hotel equipped with games and toys. Outdoor play included (weather and parental consent permitting).
Nursery includes:
• Full-day care from 8.30am – 5pm
• 2-course hot lunch
• Snacks and drinks throughout the day
• A daily routine and activities report for your child
Activities vary daily and include stories, singing, arts and crafts including painting and collage making, plus messy play in the sand tray and free play with age-relevant toys set out for the children to choose what they want to do.
Cub Club is all about fun and games – and the English-speaking childcare professionals always have a song or story up their sleeve. There is a dedicated club room in the hotel, where kids can play with toys, get stuck into crafts or settle down with stories. Plus, when the weather’s nice, there are plenty of snowy activities on the cards too.
Please note: Ski school isn’t included with Cub Club, so you’ll need to add this separately when making your booking. Ski school collection is only included if you add your child’s lessons through us and you’ll still need to drop off your child yourself at ski school every morning.
Activities vary daily – to include games, arts and crafts and storytime – and are often based around a theme.
They will aim to have an outdoor activity at least once a day – maybe bus bingo, snowman competitions or a treasure hunt.
Both clubs run for either 3, 5 or 6 days and must be pre-booked to guarantee a place.

About La Thuile
La Thuile is a great choice for beginners and improvers, with 152km of wide, uncrowded slopes and excellent snow conditions that have earned it the nickname “Little Siberia.” Confident skiers can progress on long, gentle reds or cross into France to explore the wider Espace San Bernardo area around La Rosière.
A former mining village, La Thuile is quiet and understated, with a handful of bars offering a relaxed Italian après-ski experience, usually centred around an aperitivo with complimentary snacks. The surrounding scenery is spectacular, with views stretching towards the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and Mont Blanc.
