Overview
Chalet Tenzing offers a welcoming mountain base in one of Val d’Isère’s most sought-after central locations. Set on the third floor above Chalet Nirmal, it combines traditional Alpine charm with unbeatable convenience, putting the resort’s slopes, restaurants and après-ski scene within easy reach.
Sleeping up to seven guests, the chalet features three twin en-suite bedrooms and one single en-suite room with a double bed. Warm wood-panelled interiors create a relaxed and homely atmosphere, while the compact living and dining areas provide a comfortable space to share meals and unwind after a day on the mountain.
Guests have access to ski and boot storage on the ground floor, with en-suite facilities throughout and excellent transport connections nearby. Its lively central position puts you right in the heart of the action; guests staying in Room 2 should be aware that there can be some noise from the nearby Le Petit Danois après-ski venue.

About Val d'Isère
Val d'Isère is one of Europe's top ski resorts for intermediate and advanced skiers. Shared with neighbouring Tignes, the 300km ski area is packed with long blue and red runs, challenging mogul fields and extensive off-piste terrain where experienced skiers can put their skills to the test. Beginners and less confident skiers can build their confidence on the gentle green slopes or head over to Tignes for a wider choice of easy blue runs. With most of the skiing above 2,300m, excellent snow conditions are usually a safe bet throughout the season.
The resort has a well-earned reputation for style and sophistication, with accommodation ranging from charming traditional hotels and apartments to luxurious four and five-star properties complete with premium facilities. The dining scene is just as impressive, offering everything from hearty Savoyard specialities and gourmet cuisine to relaxed cafés serving all-day breakfasts. Food lovers shouldn't miss the Michelin-starred La Table de l'Ours for an unforgettable dining experience.
When the lifts close, Val d'Isère's lively après-ski scene comes to life. Start the celebrations at La Folie Douce with live music and energetic performances before heading to Cocorico at the foot of the slopes. Round off the evening with DJs and dancing at Petit Danois. If you'd rather swap après for adventure, there's plenty to choose from, including tubing, fat biking and even ice climbing, where you can tackle a frozen waterfall equipped with crampons and ice axes.
