Overview

Village Montana Apartments provide a practical, value-focused ski-in, ski-out base in Val Thorens, with immediate access to the slopes of the Three Valleys ski area.

Set in a quiet slopeside position, the residence allows guests to click into their skis directly from the boot room and head straight onto the piste. It’s a convenient option for families and groups looking for easy access to skiing without unnecessary travel.

The apartments are simple and rustic in style, available in a range of sizes to suit different group types. Each includes a kitchenette and a basic living area, offering everything needed for a self-catered stay.

On-site facilities add extra convenience, including a bar for après-ski drinks, a mini supermarket, and three restaurants for nights when you don’t want to cook. A spa is also available for an additional charge, providing a place to relax and recover after a day on the mountain.

Apartments

All apartments have a TV, WiFi and a kitchenette with fridge, oven, hot plates and dishwasher. Bed linen, towels, end-of-stay cleaning (excluding kitchenette) and local taxes are included.

When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €500 by credit or debit card for each apartment on your booking.

2 bedroom apartment with balcony (approx. 45m²) - sleeps 1-4: Double bedroom, twin bedroom, living area, private shower or bath, WC and balcony.

2 bedroom apartment with balcony (approx. 45m²) - sleeps 1-6: Double bedroom, twin bedroom with either two single beds or bunk beds and living area with a sofa bed that folds out into twin beds, private shower or bath, WC and balcony. Some apartments may be duplex.

3 bedroom apartment with balcony (approx. 65m²) - sleeps 1-6: Double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, living area with fireplace, private shower, bath, two WCs and balcony. Some apartments may be duplex.

3 bedroom apartment with balcony (approx. 55m²) - sleeps 1-6: Double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, private shower or bath, WC and balcony. Some apartments may be duplex.

3 bedroom apartment (approx. 100m²) - sleeps 1-8: Two twin bedrooms, third bedroom with twin beds or double bed, cabin room with bunk beds, living area, two private showers, four WCs, private hot tub, sauna and balcony. Some apartments may be duplex.

Please note: While guests may choose from the three restaurants for evening meals, a booking must be made each day at reception. The first seating each day is at 6.45pm.

The three restaurants are La Chaumiere and Les Chantrelles, which both serve traditional French cuisine and can be found in the hotel, and La Place, a more relaxed, family friendly restaurant located near the Almes chairlift.

About Tignes

With 300km of pistes across the Tignes–Val d'Isère ski area, Tignes is one of the Alps' premier ski destinations. The skiing reaches up to 3,456m on the Grande Motte glacier, offering reliable snow conditions and an outstanding variety of terrain. Cruise through tree-lined runs, tackle long descents from the glacier or test your technique on the area's famously challenging blues and reds. Beginners are well looked after too, with nine free lifts in the nursery areas so first-timers can build confidence before buying a lift pass.

The resort is made up of several villages, each with its own character. Val Claret and Le Lac are at the heart of the action, with excellent ski-in, ski-out accommodation, lively après-ski and easy access to the slopes – especially the glacier from Val Claret. For a quieter stay, Tignes 1800 and Les Brévières offer a more relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding in a hotel spa or apartment after a day on the mountain. Wherever you stay, the spectacular Alpine scenery is never far away, with the frozen lake providing one of the resort's most memorable backdrops.

Away from the slopes, there's plenty to keep the adventure going. Try ice diving beneath the frozen lake for a truly unique experience, or make the most of free entry to Le Lagon aquatic centre with a six-day lift pass and enjoy the pool and waterslides. For an extra adrenaline rush, take on the Bun J Ride – a thrilling mix of ski jumping and bungee jumping that's unlike anything else in the Alps.
