Overview

Les Hirondelle is a large traditional chalet conveniently situated between St Jean de Sixt and la Clusaz. The chalet has three lounge areas, perfect at the end of the day where you can relax and swap stories of the day's activities with a glass of wine in hand. There are nine bedrooms all comfortably furnished with a lounge area on each floor. There is an outside hot tub and nestled in the trees is a unique shepherds hut converted into a sauna.

Description

Location

Situated in an attractive setting on the edge of a pine forest close to St Jean de Sixt and only a five minute drive from La Clusaz. Guests will benefit from having a car. However, there are many taxi services that offer slope transfer services.

Chalet Layout

The guest living space is spread across 3 floors.

Second Floor

There is a large dining area that has seating for up to 20 people. There is a well equipped kitchen with gas oven and hob.

On arrival you will find a welcome pack with breakfast essentials.

You will also find a veranda with seating and outdoor dining.

Third Floor

On the 3rd floor is a second large living area with toilet, workstations, fireplace and balcony.

Rooms 1- Double, 2 - Twin, 3 - Double are located in self-contained area off from the main space.

Rooms 4 - Twin & 5 - Twin are found at the on the mid landing on the way up to the 4th floor.

Fourth Floor

At the top of the house rooms 6 - Double, 7 - Double, 8 - Twin & 9 - Double are found clustered around a small living area.

Outside

In the surrounding space, guest have access to the hot tub and sauna.

Meals

Offered on a bed and breakfast basis, breakfast will include a selection of hot and cold options including cereals, fruit, yogurts, freshly baked breads and pastries, and fresh coffee and tea.

About St-Jean-de-Sixt

St-jean is little more than a collection of pleasant chalets and small hotels around a road junction mid-way between La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornard. On a nearby hill there are two drags serving very short green, blue and red runs. If you want to have some more challenging skiing you could easily drive up to Le Grand-Bornand or La Clusaz which are only 3 km away.
