Overview

Stylish sophistication defines Les Suites d’Alexane, a refined alpine stay located in the centre of Samoëns, sharing its building with the elegant Résidence Alexane. While the Grand Massif Express Gondola is a little further away, a complimentary hotel shuttle provides quick and easy access to the slopes of the Grand Massif.

The interiors are inspired by mountain regions around the world, blending Alpine design with touches from the Himalayas, Rockies and Andes. Expect an eclectic mix of textures and finishes, from faux fur and tartan to pebble-stone accents and contemporary styling. At the heart of the hotel is an impressive 1,000m² spa, featuring a heated indoor pool with slope views, relaxation areas and a distinctive Himalayan salt wall.

Mornings begin with a generous hot and cold buffet breakfast, including pastries, fruit, cheeses and more. In the evenings, the piano bar offers a relaxed atmosphere with live music, soft seating and a sociable setting to unwind after a day on the mountain.

Rooms

All rooms are non-smoking and have a TV, telephone, hairdryer, slippers, bathrobes and safe.

When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €500 by credit or debit card for each room on your booking.

Twin room (approx. 25m²) - sleeps 1-2: Double bed or twin beds, private bath or shower and WC. Twin beds are provided as standard – if you’d like a double bed, please contact us so we can update your booking.

Family suite with balcony (approx. 55m²) - sleeps 1-4: Twin bedroom, double bedroom, living room, private bath or shower, private shower, two WCs and balcony.

Cots are available to hire, free of charge, on request.

About Samoëns

With the recent arrival of Club Med, Samoëns has been transformed from a charming, if sleepy corner of the Grand Massif ski area to one of the Alps' go to destinations.

Just an hour from Geneva airport, yet this resort gives you access to high-altitude skiing with over 250km of mostly tree-lined pistes. A great variety of slopes mean that all levels are catered for. The village still oozes Alpine charm, with a gondola link whisking you directly to the main ski area that starts from 1600m. Links to Flaine, Morillon and Les Carroz mean there's always somewhere new to explore.

The village even has the honour of being an official historical monument. Away from the slopes, if you're looking for clubs and pubs, this isn't the place. Instead, you'll find plenty of restaurants serving excellent local dishes.

Overall, Samoëns is a good little spot to know about: the skiing is great, challenging and varied. Very unusually for a resort of this size, Geneva's just an hour or so away and facilities for kids are excellent.
