Chalet Castor is just one of six ski chalets which make up a mini-village in the picturesque area of Peisey Vallandry, just below Les Arcs 1800. It is set on a slope and very close to the lifts linking you to Les Arcs and across the valley to La Plagne. The chalet has been very well laid out with a pair of large ensuite bedrooms on each floor, particularly ideal for families taking two rooms as it affords a nice amount privacy.

About Peisey-Vallandry
Until the arrival of the Vanoise Express in 2004, Peisey-Vallandry was nicely located for accessing the Les Arcs ski domain, but hardly known as a destination in its own right.
With the arrival of the amazing double-decker cable car linking Les Arcs and La Plagne, it became the prime spot for exploring this huge ski area. Each morning you have an easy choice, but what do you prefer? The tree-lined skiing and amazing Aiguille Rouge in Les Arcs, or the seemingly endless motorway pistes and sprinkling of villages in La Plagne? You can be doing either in minutes when staying here.
The two villages have a good range of amenities, plus some restaurants and nightlife. Don't come here expecting a wild party, but for the ski purists who also like quality, this place is hard to top!
