Location
The chalet is located in a pretty hamlet just outside of Morzine. Access to the slopes is a 10 minute drive away in our complimentary shuttle via the Ardent lifts, which skips the long lift up from Morzine. Morzine itself is also a 10 minute drive from the chalet in the opposite direction. On the chalet night off, we will also pick you up from Morzine in the evening. Room Descriptions
All rooms at The Retreat are equipped with a hairdryer, bathrobes and Molton Brown toiletries.
Six twin and double rooms are spread over the ground and first floors,
each with their own en-suite bathroom with bath and/or shower. One of
these rooms has a fixed double bed the other five have twin beds. One of
the twin bedded rooms has an additional single bed that can be used as a
triple room.
The master suite is situated in the eaves of the chalet and features a
handcrafted double bed, an en-suite bathroom with a large Jacuzzi bath
and a shower.

Meals
Dining is on a catered chalet basis, meaning you will enjoy a continental-style buffet breakfast with an optional hot dish, afternoon tea, pre-dinner drinks and canapés as well as a four-course evening meal with wine. Each week there is one chalet staff night off (usually Monday or Tuesday) where your evening meal is not included. Breakfast and afternoon tea will be served as normal on this day and we’ll be happy to make dinner reservations at a local restaurant for you. Our resort representative will run you into Morzine and collect you later on in the evening.

About Morzine
Morzine is one of the standout resorts in the Portes du Soleil, combining traditional alpine charm with access to 650km of skiing across France and Switzerland. The local slopes suit a range of abilities, and neighbouring Avoriaz is easily reached for even more varied terrain.
The village stretches along the valley and is known for its chalet-style architecture, lively atmosphere and excellent selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Savoyard favourites such as fondue, raclette and pierrade feature on many menus, adding to the authentic mountain experience.
Après-ski is one of Morzine's biggest draws, with everything from relaxed bars to live music and late-night venues. Away from the slopes, you can enjoy snowshoeing, tandem paragliding, ice hockey matches and a variety of other winter activities.
