Description
Could we find a chalet even closer to the lifts in the centre of Morzine? We weren’t sure until our long-standing friend, Jean-Marc, built us a brand new luxury chalet right next to the Super-Morzine lift (well, 57 steps away to be exact).
Chalet Kaila (previously chalet Ecoeur) is our new secret hideaway, balanced on a cliff, bang in the centre of Morzine and boasting an exquisite and unexpected panorama of the local summits. A few ubiquitous toys like an outdoor hot tub, sauna and flat screens in all the rooms have been added. Smart contemporary living, nice sized bedrooms with plenty of cupboard space, oversized hot water tanks and a location to tell your friends about.
We are pretty pleased with this one, we know you will be too - and we're confident there's no other luxury chalet in Morzine quite like this one.

Location
An outstanding location just 50m from the Super-Morzine bubble. Set back from the High Street and just a minute’s walk from the centre of Morzine. 500m to the Pleney piste and nursery slopes.

(Ground floor) - Family Suite - Double with shared terrace and outdoor hot tub, en suite bath, handbasin and separate WC. Bunk room (50% discount) with space for a cot. (The double room is accessed through the bunk room).
Room 2
(Ground floor) - Double with shared terrace and outdoor hot tub, en suite shower, handbasin and WC.
Room 3
(2nd floor) - Twin with balcony, en suite bath, handbasin and separate WC.
Room 4
(2nd floor) - Twin with balcony, en suite bath, hand basin and separate WC. Space for a cot.

About Morzine
Morzine is one of the standout resorts in the Portes du Soleil, combining traditional alpine charm with access to 650km of skiing across France and Switzerland. The local slopes suit a range of abilities, and neighbouring Avoriaz is easily reached for even more varied terrain.
The village stretches along the valley and is known for its chalet-style architecture, lively atmosphere and excellent selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Savoyard favourites such as fondue, raclette and pierrade feature on many menus, adding to the authentic mountain experience.
Après-ski is one of Morzine's biggest draws, with everything from relaxed bars to live music and late-night venues. Away from the slopes, you can enjoy snowshoeing, tandem paragliding, ice hockey matches and a variety of other winter activities.
