BABY, KIDS, JUNIORS, TEENS and ADOS clubs


The Clarines has the whole family covered with a range of clubs to suit children of all ages. The Club Baby is for little ones from 18 months to 3 years, Kids and Juniors clubs are for kids aged 4-10 years, and the Teens and Ados clubs are for the oldest ones between 11 and 17 years.



Activities


Club Baby includes lots of fun and games in the snow, with indoor story time and plenty of soft play.

Kids and Juniors clubs include a weekly themed programme around the mountain. Accompanied by the mascots Frizy and Mô, there’ll be plenty of outdoor action as they get stuck into the ‘Aces of the Mountain’ challenge.

In Teens and Ados clubs older ones have the chance to win prizes in text message competitions and try activities like snowtubing.

Drop-off and pick-up from ski school lessons is included.

Squ@t games room with TV, games consoles and board games is available for Teens and Ados clubs during French school holidays.




Childcare options



Extra charge for Baby club during French school holidays. Outside of these dates, half days are included free of charge, with full days available to book at an extra cost locally. The club is open all season from Monday to Friday, from 9am –12pm and 1-5pm, with two evening sessions per week, from 7.30-9pm.

Extra charge for Kids and Junior clubs. During French school holidays, these clubs are only available to book as half days, with two evening sessions per week, from 7.30-9pm. Outside French school holidays, full days are available with two evening sessions per week. These clubs are open all season from Monday to Friday, 9am – 12pm and 2-5pm, with two evening sessions from 7.30-9.30pm.

Teens and Ados clubs are only open during French school holidays from Monday to Friday from 5pm, with two evening sessions per week from 7.30-9pm.

Hotel-run childcare at MMV accommodations can only be booked directly with MMV – either by contacting their office out of season or reserving at the hotel on arrival during the season. 

Offered on a self-catered basis, guests will be able to collect provisions from the nearby supermarkets or enjoy sampling the regional and internationally inspired cuisine in one of the many local restaurants

Les Deux Alpes skiing

Les Deux Alpes is a very popular resort with the Brits. It boasts the largest glacier in Europe (at 3568m)allowing for year round skiing. The biggest attraction for boarders and freestyle skiers, and those that like a bit of pro spotting, is the world class snowpark found at the Jandri mid-station during the winter, and up on the glacier during the summer. Beginners and intermediates are well catered for with some nice motorway pistes.  Advanced skiers should head to the La Fee area for testing black runs and to nearby La Grave for some of the best off-piste around.

Anywhere with its own 200km ski area should be on the serious skier's to-do list.

Les Deux Alpes ski resort

The resort itself is quite large and spread out, it does have a very good range of shops and restaurants, plus varied and lively apres ski & nightlife. For non skiers, the hamlet of Venosc with its craft shops and cute eateries is walkable when there's not too much snow, or can be reached by cable car. Childcare is very good, so families are welcomed.

Overall, a lively resort and very popular with the young freestyle crowd and their followers, with La Grave and the glacier particular pluses and Grenoble Airport only 90 minutes away. A great resort if you're on a budget, but with some popular high end choices too. You're guaranteed a fun time in Deux Alpes!
