Overview

The Chalet des Arolles are well located, you can ski virtually to and from the residence. They are modern and nicely furnished apartments that are also close to the village facilities, an ideal base for your skiing holiday in La Plagne. Guests have the option to upgrade to half board, which includes breakfast and an exclusive specially designed 3-course set menu in the evenings, taken at the Restaurant Le K2, only 2 minutes from the apartment building.

Rooms

All have a kitchenette with hotplates, microwave or mini-oven, fridge and dishwasher. Bed linen, towels, cleaning kit, end of stay clean (excluding kitchen) and local taxes included.

Type C Studios (22m²) - sleeps 2-4: Living area with double sofa bed and pull-out bed. Bedroom separated by a sliding partition with two daybeds, private bath or shower and WC.

Type D Studios (28m²) - sleeps 2-5: Living area with three single beds. Bedroom separated by sliding partition with two bunk beds, private bath or shower and WC.

About La Plagne

La Plagne is a superb choice for families and anyone looking to build confidence on the slopes, with access to 425km of varied skiing in the Paradiski area. Beginners can progress from gentle nursery slopes to wide, scenic blue runs, including those from Grande Rochette back to Plagne Centre. More experienced skiers can enjoy longer reds towards Champagny-en-Vanoise, while those wanting to explore further can take the double-decker cable car over to Les Arcs for even more terrain.

The resort is made up of several linked villages, each with its own character. Plagne Centre is the original hub, while Plagne Soleil is the newest. Belle Plagne and Plagne 1800 are among the prettiest options, Plagne Villages sits right in the heart of the ski area, and Plagne Aime 2000 offers a quieter, family-friendly base. All villages provide a mix of accommodation, restaurants and easy access to the pistes.

Off the slopes, La Plagne offers plenty of unique experiences. You can race down France’s only Olympic bobsleigh track, take a ziplining adventure across the mountains, or visit the Bellecôte glacier’s ice grotto filled with intricate sculptures carved from snow and ice. For a more relaxed alternative with the same access to the Paradiski area, the nearby village of Montalbert offers a smaller, laid-back atmosphere while still connecting directly into the ski network.
