Overview
Dormio Resort Les Portes du Grand Massif combines modern comfort with traditional alpine style, making it an excellent choice for families and groups. With spacious apartments sleeping up to 10 guests, the residence offers plenty of room to relax, while private balconies provide the perfect place to enjoy the fresh mountain air and surrounding scenery.
Natural wood features throughout the apartments, from floors and ceilings to walls and furnishings, creating a warm chalet-style atmosphere. Comfortable living areas and large dining tables make it easy for groups to gather after a day on the slopes, while well-equipped kitchens provide flexibility for self-catering stays. Guests can also arrange fresh bread deliveries each morning for an added touch of convenience.
Located around 2km from the centre of Flaine, the residence is served by a free shuttle bus offering easy access to the slopes and resort facilities throughout the day.
After skiing, guests can unwind in the wellness area, which includes a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Massage treatments are also available for those looking to add an extra level of relaxation to their stay.

Apartments
All apartments have a kitchenette with oven, hobs, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities and a dishwasher, as well as free WiFi, flatscreen TV and minibar. Towels, linen and end-of-stay cleaning are included.
When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €300 for your apartment (or approx. €500 if you have booked two or more apartments) by credit or debit card.

About Flaine
Flaine is a convenient, family-friendly resort with excellent skiing for beginners and intermediates. Learners can build confidence on the free nursery slopes before progressing to long green and blue runs, including the 14km Cascades piste. More experienced skiers can explore wide reds, scenic tree-lined trails and a varied network of runs that make it easy to meet up across the mountain.
The resort is split between Flaine Forum and Flaine Forêt, linked by funiculars, and combines distinctive Brutalist architecture with modern wood-and-stone apartments. Away from the slopes, you can enjoy ice karting, bowling and impressive outdoor sculptures by artists including Picasso and Dubuffet.
