Overview

Located at 1800m, high above the resort centre and offering superb views to the Grand Massif mountain range, Chalet Flaine is a comfortably furnished and has a homely atmosphere. There's a lovely open-plan living and dining area on the first floor with pine clad walls, tiled floors with rugs and exposed beams. This room opens to a balcony with table and chairs, often bathed in the morning sun (and snow!).

Location

Chalet Flaine is located in Hameau du Flaine, around 2km from Flaine, which can be reached in 5-10 minutes by bus.

First Floor

Second Floor

Room 1 - Small Twin/Double with private shower and WC (across landing). Two single beds are 80cm wide and cannot be separated.

Room 2 - Twin/Double with ensuite shower and WC

Ground Floor

Room 3 - Double with private shower and WC (across corridor)

Room 4 - Twin/Double with shared bathroom across corridor (bath tub with shower over) and WC. Two single beds are 80cm wide and cannot be separated.

Room 5 - Bunk-bedded room with shared bathroom across corridor (bath tub with shower over) and WC. Adult bunks 80cm wide

Meals

Included in your holiday; breakfast, afternoon tea and cake, evening meal with wine. However, please note that chalet staff now have 2 days off a week, on a Wednesday and Saturday. On these days they will leave breakfast and afternoon tea out for you, but the evening meal is not provided, which gives you an opportunity to dine out in resort.

About Flaine

Flaine is a convenient, family-friendly resort with excellent skiing for beginners and intermediates. Learners can build confidence on the free nursery slopes before progressing to long green and blue runs, including the 14km Cascades piste. More experienced skiers can explore wide reds, scenic tree-lined trails and a varied network of runs that make it easy to meet up across the mountain.

The resort is split between Flaine Forum and Flaine Forêt, linked by funiculars, and combines distinctive Brutalist architecture with modern wood-and-stone apartments. Away from the slopes, you can enjoy ice karting, bowling and impressive outdoor sculptures by artists including Picasso and Dubuffet.
