Overview

The Mamie, meaning granny in French, is a really unique place to stay. Flower-print cushions, tartan bedspreads and ruffled lampshades give this slopeside hotel a retro feel, but it's not just the décor that makes this a stand-out pick – you're in a top-notch location here too. Opposite the Jardin Alpin lift, Mamie's ski-in, ski-out, so getting onto the mountain every day is easy-peasy.

And you've got some great facilities to enjoy, like the wellness area and sun terrace. When you're back from the slopes, tuck into a slice of cake and a cuppa out in that fresh mountain air. Then swim a few lengths in the indoor pool, turn up the heat in the sauna and steam room or sit back and relax on one of the poolside deckchairs. In the evenings, grab a drink from Granny's Bar and head to the lounge to play a giant board game with your pals.

Mamie's got your mealtimes sorted, and everything's made with fresh, local produce. There's a hot and cold buffet breakfast every morning, and a 4-course evening meal to refuel after a day on the hill.
