Overview

Built in local Savoyard stone and wood, La Ginabelle residence has a bus stop just outside for quick and easy access to the ski areas as well as being just a short walk to the bars and restaurants. It is has spectacular views of Mont Blanc and an excellent indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath and fitness area. Spa treatments are available at a local charge for that extra bit of pampering.

Rooms

All apartments have a kitchenette with hot plates, oven, fridge, coffee machine, toaster and dishwasher, a TV with English channels, WiFi, bathroom or shower room with WC (separate in type E's) and a balcony. Bed linen, beds made on arrival, towels, end of stay clean (excluding kitchen) and local taxes included.

Type C Apartment (30m²) - sleeps 1-4: One double bedroom and double sofa bed in living area.

Type C1 Apartment (37m²)- sleeps 1-4: One double bedroom and one twin bedroom.

Type E Apartment (32-35m²) - sleeps 1-6: One double bedroom, double sofa bed in living area and bunk bed in alcove.

Type E1 Apartment (45m²) - sleeps 1-6: One double bedroom, one twin bedroom and double sofa bed in living area.

About Chamonix

Chamonix sits at the foot of Mont Blanc and is one of France’s oldest and most prestigious ski resorts, having hosted the first Winter Olympics in 1924. While its 150km ski area is relatively small, it offers some of the most challenging terrain in the Alps, making it a top choice for experienced skiers. Highlights include the legendary 20km Vallée Blanche off-piste route and excellent intermediate skiing across areas such as Le Tour, Les Houches and Brévent-Flégère.

The town itself is cosmopolitan and historic, with pedestrian streets lined with Savoyard buildings, Art Deco architecture and specialist ski shops. Après-ski is lively, with plenty of live music venues and cocktail bars.

Chamonix is also a hub for mountain adventures beyond skiing, from ice caves and spas to the iconic Aiguille du Midi. At 3,842m, its viewing platform offers breathtaking views, while the “Step into the Void” glass box provides a thrilling experience suspended above the mountains.
