About Brides Les Bains
There is no skiing directly to this quaint old spa town, but it was the site of the Olympic Village for the 1992 Olympics in Albertville. The three-stage Olympe gondola was built to link it with Les Allues and Méribel 1450, in the heart of the Trois Vallées. As a result, the town now markets itself as a gateway to the largest ski area in the world, taking only 25 minutes in the gondola.
Don't come to Brides-Les-Bains expecting apres ski, rowdy nightlife or extensive shopping and dining options. Instead, you'll find superb value accommodation with the gondola to Meribel depositing you directly into the heart of the Three Valleys lift system.
If you want to try the World's best ski area on a limited budget then Brides-Les-Bains could be a great choice!
