Nursery (6 months - 3 years) is run by the team of childcare professionals and held in a dedicated room in the hotel equipped with games and toys. Outdoor play included (weather and parental consent permitting).


Morning session - Half-day care for 3, 5 or 6 days from 8.30-11.30am

Afternoon session - Half-day care for 3, 5, or 6 days from 11.30am – 5pm

•  2-course hot lunch, plus snacks and drinks.

Activities vary daily and include stories, singing, arts and crafts including painting and collage making, plus messy play in the sand tray and free play with age-relevant toys set out for the children to choose what they want to do.

They will aim to have an outdoor activity at least once a day – maybe snowy walks, a gondola ride or snow painting. And if your child is used to a sleep, it will be factored in too.

Cub Club (3 - 8 years) For kids who aren’t skiing in the morning. Different games, stories and crafts are on the cards each day in the clubroom, plus plenty of play outside.

If you’ve added ski school to your booking, the children are collected after their lessons and take them back to the club for lunch. After this, there’s an afternoon of fun, with a different programme of games and activities each day.

Activities vary daily – to include games, arts and crafts and storytime – and are often based around a theme.

They will aim to have an outdoor activity at least once a day – maybe bus bingo, snowman competitions or a treasure hunt.

Both clubs run for 6 days and must be pre-booked to guarantee a place.

Please note, this is at an extra charge, and in some instances does not extend the full length of the ski season.

Alpe d’Huez is a high-altitude, south-facing resort famous for its reliable snow and exceptional sunshine, earning it the nickname the “Island in the Sun” with over 300 bluebird days each year. Vieil Alpe provides a traditional alpine feel with its stone buildings and village charm. Après-ski is a big part of the experience, with mountain venues such as La Folie Douce delivering energetic parties straight off the slopes.

Accommodation is equally diverse, ranging from self-catered apartments to large hotels with extensive facilities, making it suitable for all types of traveller. For off-slope activities, the alpine coaster offers a thrilling descent with twists, turns and optional VR goggles for an immersive mountain experience.
