Overview

Chalet Gaube combines contemporary comfort with a warm Alpine feel, with large windows, wooden furnishings and inviting textures creating a welcoming space to relax and socialise. The sun-drenched open-plan lounge and dining area is a highlight, with plush sofas and a large dining table providing the perfect setting for communal meals while enjoying striking mountain views.

All bedrooms are en-suite, featuring walk-in showers, elegant marble-effect tiling and USB ports, with most offering balcony access and beautiful mountain views. After a day on the slopes, guests can make use of the heated ski lockers before unwinding in the shared wellness area, complete with a hot tub, sauna, hammam and massage rooms, with massages available at an additional cost.

With the lifts, pistes and après-ski spots just moments away, Chalet Gaube offers an unbeatable combination of convenience, comfort and indulgence. The wellness facilities are shared with the other chalets in the residence: Chalet Bourget on the entrance floor, Chalet Salagou and Chalet Annecy on the first floor, and Chalet Leman on the second floor.

Description

Location

The chalet is on the second floor of the building and is accessed by a lift. Chalet Bourget(entrance floor) , Salagou (first floor), Annecy (first floor) and Leman (second floor) are in the same residence.

The residence is centrally located just behind the tourist office. Shops, restaurants and bars are easy to reach. The slopes are at 100 meters, the ski school 500 meters and the Telecentre gondola 100 meters.

About Alpe d'Huez

Alpe d’Huez is a high-altitude, south-facing resort famous for its reliable snow and exceptional sunshine, earning it the nickname the “Island in the Sun” with over 300 bluebird days each year. Its 250km ski area is highly varied, offering beginner-friendly learning zones and well-linked easy runs, long scenic blues around the main bowl, and more challenging terrain higher up on the glacier, including the legendary 16km Sarenne – the world’s longest black run.

The resort is spread across several distinct areas, each with its own character. The lively centre is home to bars and nightlife, including quirky spots like Freeride Café, while Bergers offers a quieter, more laid-back atmosphere. Vieil Alpe provides a traditional alpine feel with its stone buildings and village charm.
