About Lake Louise
Lake Louise combines spectacular scenery with world-class skiing in the heart of Banff National Park. Explore 4,200 acres of terrain, from gentle tree-lined runs to powder-filled bowls, with pistes for every ability from every lift. Your lift pass also gives you access to Sunshine Village and Mount Norquay, offering 274 runs across three ski areas.
The peaceful village is just five minutes from the slopes, while the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise sits on the shores of the frozen lake for an unforgettable stay.
Away from the pistes, skate across the frozen lake, walk the lakeside trails, or visit Johnston Canyon to see its spectacular frozen waterfalls.
A tri-area ski pass covers your skiing in Lake Louise, Sunshine Village and Mount Norquay. This pass also includes free access to the regular and efficient shuttle bus service linking these ski areas with the lodging in Lake Louise and Banff.
If you visit, you will quickly understand why, along with Whistler, most Europeans head for Lake Louise. It has great skiing, is incredibly user-friendly, the snow is excellent and it's all very reasonably priced.
