About St Johann in Tirol

St Johann is a great choice for first-time skiers, with a compact ski area that’s easy to get to grips with. A large nursery zone sits close to the village, while a mix of scenic blue and red runs offers plenty of options as confidence builds. Families are well catered for too, with a snow park and fun slope packed with bumps, boxes and banked turns.

The village has classic Tyrolean charm, with frescoed buildings and an onion-domed church overlooking the central square. While it’s not a party hotspot, there’s a relaxed, friendly atmosphere in the evenings, with locals gathering for a stein of beer from the town brewery.
