About St Christoph
One of the highest resorts in the Alps, St Christoph sits within the renowned Arlberg ski area, giving access to 305km of linked pistes that connect St Anton, Lech and Zürs to form Austria's largest ski network. While the local slopes are mainly gentle blues, the wider Arlberg region offers an outstanding variety of terrain for intermediates and experts alike, all easily accessible from the village.
Small, peaceful and perfectly formed, St Christoph is made up of just a handful of traditional buildings set in an open snowy bowl, surrounded by wide mountain slopes. Its intimate size makes it an ideal choice for those seeking tranquillity alongside world-class skiing. Accommodation is limited but high quality, and dining is a highlight, with standout venues such as the legendary Hospiz Alm, home to a remarkable 600-year-old wine cellar.
Evenings here are typically calm and relaxed, best spent unwinding in a cosy hotel lounge with a glass of wine after a day on the mountain. For those looking for a livelier atmosphere, the nearby resort of St Anton is just a short journey away and offers one of the most famous après-ski scenes in Europe.
