Overview
This sunny south-facing resort is a cut above when it comes to kid-friendly skiing. There are two top-notch nursery slopes to get little ones sliding with style. Then when you’re ready to take on the mountain as a team, there are heaps of wide blues and reds to explore. Add in fun slopes, snow parks and a skier cross course, and you’re set for a week’s worth of family ski days.
The three traditional villages that make up the resort each bring something different to the party. First up is Fiss – located in the middle, it’s the place to be if you want everything from beginner areas to bars on your doorstep. Second you’ve got Serfaus, which has its own mini underground train to get you from A to B. And lastly there’s Ladis, which is lower down the mountain and has a more laid-back feel.
Skiing is only half the story here. On the mountain, you’ve got thrilling rides like the Skyswing (a giant, 8-person swing) and the Fisser Flieger – picture a 4-person hang glider that whizzes down a wire. The action continues with a 4km toboggan track, alpine coaster and zip line. And catching one of the weekly ski shows is a must to see eye-widening tricks and impressive light displays.

About Serfaus
Having arrived at the top other Serfaus specialities await you: 'Take-Off'centre, a unique venue for the new winter sports with rental and instruction services, and the 'Kinderschneealm'. Not wanting to overstate the obvious, this is one of the best entertainment centres for children in the Alps, with a children's ski school, a ski kindergarten with day-care facilities, countless game and adventure areas, like a skidoo track, two children's restaurants, 'Murmlirest' and 'Starrest' , and the so-called 'Murmlitrail' with eight event stations and talking figures. The 'Murmlikrippe' at the valley station in Serfaus offers a nursery for children between 0 and 5. Then there is a 10,000 sqm kids paradise right in the middle of Serfaus. In addition to the 'Kinderschneealm' the 'Murmlipark' guarantees fun galore for our younger visitors.
Savour the exceptional architecture and exclusive range of offers at Tyrol's Premiere Ski Lounge at Komperdell.
Another benefit of Serfaus is the high standart of hotel, catering and entertainment industry. There are numerous 4 and 5 star hotels in Serfaus, as well as a wide range of themed hotels catering for families or wellness fans. Apart from the excellent hotel cuisine there are very good restaurants and alpine cabins with first-class food.
A highlight in entertainment is the 'Adventure Night' that takes place once a week and very elegantly combines music events with a laser show, dinner and night skiing.
