My Alpenwelt Resort is ideally positioned in Königsleiten, with the main lift right next door and the slopes running directly behind the hotel, making it a true ski-in, ski-out base. The building has a classic Alpine look, with dark wood cladding and chalet-style roofs that sit naturally in the mountain landscape.
Inside, rooms are simply styled with neutral tones and subtle colour accents, creating a relaxed and unfussy atmosphere. The wellness area is a highlight, offering a spacious relaxation zone with large windows and mountain views, alongside hanging chairs for unwinding, an indoor pool for swimming, and a separate children’s pool with fountains and a slide. A wide range of spa treatments is also available for extra relaxation.
Mornings begin with a generous buffet breakfast featuring fresh bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheeses and made-to-order egg dishes. In the evenings, guests can expect varied dining with international dishes, themed buffets and family-friendly options. The on-site wine shop adds an extra touch for those who want to explore regional and international bottles during their stay.

Transfer coaches are unable to stop right outside the hotel, so you'll be dropped off by the Bergbahn Königsleiten lift and have a 3-minute walk to the entrance when you arrive.
Lifts at this hotel only go to three floors.

About Königsleiten
Traditional Alpine charm and excellent ski-in, ski-out access make Königsleiten a favourite for families and skiers of all abilities. Nestled beneath the forested slopes of the Königsleitenspitze, the village offers skiing right from the doorstep. Beginners can build confidence on the gentle practice slopes in the heart of the village, while more experienced skiers will enjoy the challenging red runs higher up the mountain. Fast, modern lifts provide seamless access to the wider 150km Zillertal Arena ski area, offering even more terrain to explore.
Königsleiten has all the character of a classic Austrian mountain village, with timber-clad chalets, family-run hotels and a picturesque church set against a backdrop of snow-covered forests and dramatic peaks. Its compact layout means the slopes, accommodation and après-ski venues are all within easy walking distance. Après-ski is lively without being overwhelming, with a handful of welcoming bars near the lifts, while evenings remain peaceful and relaxed.
Away from the slopes, there's plenty to enjoy. Go tobogganing, take a traditional horse-drawn sleigh ride through the winter landscape, or visit the nearby village of Wald, where the local swimming pool features a giant waterslide and dedicated children's pool. For a truly memorable experience, join a torchlit walk to the spectacular Krimml Waterfalls, where the frozen scenery creates a magical winter setting.
