The ski school is also close by for beginners and improvers, while the ski bus stop into the village is just a short three-minute walk away.

Stays here are full board, making everything refreshingly simple. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all included as generous buffet-style meals featuring fresh, seasonal dishes, along with drinks throughout the day. Afternoon coffee and cake are also part of the experience, and with the hotel positioned right at the foot of the slope, returning for a relaxed break between runs couldn’t be easier.

About Fieberbrunn

Fieberbrunn sits on the edge of the 270km Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, making it a great base for skiers who want plenty of terrain alongside a quieter mountain atmosphere. It’s known for excellent snow conditions and even hosts major freeride competitions, with quick lifts linking directly from the village to extensive ski terrain. Confident skiers can explore world-class off-piste with a guide, while cruisers have access to long, scenic blue and red runs across the wider area.

The village itself is a traditional mountain settlement, surrounded by pine forest and centred around a whitewashed church. Local shops and family-run restaurants give it an authentic feel, while evenings remain fairly calm, with a few bars near the gondola offering relaxed après-ski. Accommodation is limited in number but generally high quality, often including strong spa and dining facilities.

Off the slopes, there’s plenty to keep things varied. The Aubad water park offers pools and slides, while Timok’s Alpine Coaster delivers fast mountain thrills. More unusual experiences like guided llama trekking add a playful, low-key way to explore the snowy landscape.
