Overview
The Residence Andorra El Tarter is a great choice for a simple, self-catered ski stay. It’s just an eight-minute walk to the gondola that takes you up to the Grandvalira ski area, making it easy to get on the slopes each day. Each apartment includes a locker for your ski gear, or you can rent one by the lift for added convenience.
The apartments are spread across two buildings, located about a four-minute walk apart, and come equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable week. Each one features a compact kitchenette, ideal for preparing everything from quick breakfasts to relaxed dinners after a day on the mountain. There’s also a supermarket just a seven-minute walk away, so stocking up on supplies is easy.
If you’d rather skip cooking, you’ll find a selection of bars and restaurants just a few minutes’ walk from your door. For even more dining options, Soldeu is only a five-minute bus ride away.

Rooms
All apartments have a kitchenette with hob, oven or microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as a TV, free WiFi, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and extra charge for safe. Towels, linen and end-of-stay cleaning (except kitchen) are included.
When you arrive, you’ll need to provide a credit card to be scanned. A €1 payment will be taken to secure this card, so that any additional costs (such as damage or cleaning charges) may be deducted at the end of your stay. If you can only pay by cash, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €200 for each apartment on your booking.
1 bedroom apartment - sleeps 1-4: Double or twin bedroom, living room with double sofa bed, private shower and WC. Twin beds are provided as standard – if you’d like a double bed, please notify us at the time of booking

About Soldeu - El Tarter
Soldeu skiing
Part of the large Grandvalira ski area, Soldeu is a good value resort with fairly reliable snow and plenty of sun. It boasts one of the most highly rated ski schools in Europe and, with most of the pistes catering to beginners and early intermediates, it's a perfect place to learn. For advanced skiers and snowboarders there isn't so much to play with, although you can get a snowcat tow to the Piz de Encampanada for good off-piste. There is also cheap heli-skiing on offer and a decent enough snowpark .
Soldeu ski resort
In the resort itself there's a good selection of eateries at reasonable prices, and the atmosphere is fantastic, far out-charming Soldeu's Andorran relatives. In spite of a less-than-raucous nightlife it is still a lively village, but mostly bar-based.
One of the most popular resorts in Andorra, if not the Pyrenees, Soldeu has a lot going for it.
