Overview
The Ski Lodge is a popular choice in one of France’s most stylish ski resorts, combining traditional chalet character with a warm, contemporary feel. Interiors feature wood panelling, natural stone, soft furnishings and faux-fur accents, creating a cosy alpine atmosphere. Guests can choose between half-board hotel rooms or self-catering apartments, offering flexibility to suit different styles of stay. The property is located in a quiet area near the main street, approximately a 12-minute walk or short bus ride from the ski lifts.
After a day on the slopes, the lounge provides a comfortable setting to relax with a drink by the fireplace. For added relaxation, guests can also make use of the sauna and steam room.
For those staying in the hotel, the day begins with a full buffet breakfast, followed by a four-course dinner service in the evening. Once a week, a Savoyard evening is offered, featuring traditional alpine dishes such as fondue and raclette. Apartment guests benefit from self-catering facilities, with fully equipped kitchens, while also having the option to dine out at nearby restaurants in the resort.

About Val d'Isère
Val d'Isère is one of Europe's top ski resorts for intermediate and advanced skiers. Shared with neighbouring Tignes, the 300km ski area is packed with long blue and red runs, challenging mogul fields and extensive off-piste terrain where experienced skiers can put their skills to the test. Beginners and less confident skiers can build their confidence on the gentle green slopes or head over to Tignes for a wider choice of easy blue runs. With most of the skiing above 2,300m, excellent snow conditions are usually a safe bet throughout the season.
The resort has a well-earned reputation for style and sophistication, with accommodation ranging from charming traditional hotels and apartments to luxurious four and five-star properties complete with premium facilities. The dining scene is just as impressive, offering everything from hearty Savoyard specialities and gourmet cuisine to relaxed cafés serving all-day breakfasts. Food lovers shouldn't miss the Michelin-starred La Table de l'Ours for an unforgettable dining experience.
When the lifts close, Val d'Isère's lively après-ski scene comes to life. Start the celebrations at La Folie Douce with live music and energetic performances before heading to Cocorico at the foot of the slopes. Round off the evening with DJs and dancing at Petit Danois. If you'd rather swap après for adventure, there's plenty to choose from, including tubing, fat biking and even ice climbing, where you can tackle a frozen waterfall equipped with crampons and ice axes.
