Overview

Hotel Crystal is one of Obergurgl's newest and most innovative hotels and has recently been awarded the 4 Star Superior rating. The hotel enjoys a great location opposite the Festkogel gondola and offers wonderful views of the mountain. The stylish Crystal with its elegant and distinctive décor is renowned for its high standards of service.
The wellness area is a real treat for the senses. Tired skiers can re-energise in the saunas and steam baths, followed by a breath of fresh air on the spa terrace, before diving into the outdoor pool with views of the Ötztal mountains. The private spa suite is perfect for personal pampering time, either alone or with your partner – and there’s a massage and treatment menu to complement the peaceful surroundings.
Unsurprisingly, with a hotel this fine, the food is a big part of the experience. The culinary team select the best ingredients to create delicious cuisine – with a menu changing daily. The head chef sources ingredients from the local area to really make every mealtime a joy.

Twin room (approx. 35m²) - sleeps 1-2- Austrian twin beds, private bath, WC and balcony.

Superior twin room (approx. 30m²) - sleeps 2-4 (max 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children up to 11 years): Austrian twin beds, extra double sofa bed when booked for three or four, private shower, WC and balcony.

Deluxe twin room (approx. 45m²) - sleeps 2-4 -(max 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children up to 11 years): Austrian twin beds, extra double sofa bed when booked for three or four, private bath, private shower, WC and balcony.

Austrian twin beds: One large bed frame containing two single mattresses, each with their own bedding.

Please note: Rooms next door to each other may be available on request. Rooms must be the same type and cannot be guaranteed. All rooms are in the original west wing building.

About Obergurgl

Obergurgl skiing

Obergurgl is great for beginners and intermediates, which, along with good ski schools, makes for an excellent family ski holiday destination. One of the highest resorts in Austria at 1930m, Obergurgl has an excellent snow record and long season. Linked to Hochgurgl, there are over 100km of runs to enjoy. For more advanced skiers and boarders, there is often some nice off-piste to get that adrenalin pumping...

Obergurgl ski resort

The resort itself is pleasing to the eye and offers a sense of alpine charm. Off snow activities are a little sparse, although après ski is jovial without being too hectic. Hotels are generally of a high standard, with some excellent facilities and very high end dining if you're staying at the right places!
