Residence Le Val Thorens is a great-value ski-in, ski-out stay in Val Thorens, set directly on a blue run in Europe’s highest ski resort and offering easy access to the Three Valleys ski area.
The residence has a modern alpine design with high ceilings, bold prints, and warm wood-and-stone finishes, creating a relaxed but stylish mountain atmosphere with plenty of communal spaces to unwind.
Facilities include a spa and wellness area, a bar, and a kids’ club, making it well suited to families and groups. After skiing, guests can relax while children are entertained, or enjoy a drink in the bar.
Dining is buffet-style with plenty of choice, plus unlimited wine, juice, and water with dinner. A weekly Savoyard dinner adds a local touch, showcasing regional specialities in a relaxed setting.

When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €200 by credit card for each room on your booking.
Twin room (approx. 14-16m²) - sleeps 1-2: Twin beds or double bed, private shower and WC. Twin beds are provided as standard – if you’d like a double bed, please contact us so we can update your booking.
Triple room (approx. 14-16m²) - sleeps 2-3 (max 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child): Twin bedroom, extra single bed in bedroom when booked for three, private bath or shower and WC.
Quad room with interconnecting room (approx. 28-32m²) - sleeps 4 (max 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children): Two interconnecting twin rooms, each with two single beds, private shower and WC.

*Access to the spa includes 2 visits per person before 4pm and 1 visit per person after 4pm per week. This is for guests over 18 years, within the spa’s usual opening times. Please be aware that you need to reserve your spa visits at reception. Spa access includes the sauna, hammam, hot tub and sensory showers, depending on facilities available at your hotel.

Les Arolles provides clubs for a lots of age groups. Club Baby is for little ones from 18 months to 3 years, Kids and Juniors clubs are for kids aged 4-10 years, and the Teens and Ados clubs are for the oldest ones between 11 and 17 years.
Activities
Club Baby includes lots of fun and games in the snow, with indoor story time and plenty of soft play.
Kids and Juniors clubs include a weekly themed programme around the mountain. Accompanied by the mascots Frizy and Mô, there’ll be plenty of outdoor action as they get stuck into the ‘Aces of the Mountain’ challenge.
In Teens and Ados clubs older ones have the chance to win prizes in text message competitions and try activities like snowtubing.
Drop-off and pick-up from ski school lessons is included.
SQ@t games room with TV, games consoles and board games is available for Teens and Ados clubs during French school holidays.
Childcare options
Extra charge for Baby club during French school holidays. Outside of these dates, half days are included free of charge, with full days available to book at an extra cost locally. The club is open all season from Monday to Friday, from 9am-12pm and 1-5pm.
Extra charge for Kids and Junior clubs. During French school holidays, these clubs are only available to book as half days, with two evening sessions per week. Outside French school holidays, full days are available with two evening sessions per week. These clubs are open all season from Monday to Friday, 9am-12pm and 2-5pm, with two evening sessions from 7.30-9.30pm.
Teens and Ados clubs are only open during French school holidays from Monday to Friday from 5pm, with two evening sessions per week from 7.30-10pm.

Val Thorens skiing
At 2300m, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe, meaning the resort has a great snow record. Put simply, if there's no snow in Val Thorens then there's no snow anywhere! Forming part of the 600km Three Valleys ski domain, Val Thorens' extended skiing is excellent, with intermediates being particularly spoilt for choice. Advanced skiers also have plenty to play on with big moguls and access to the Maurienne Valley for off-piste adventures. In addition there's an excellent Snowpark to keep freestylers busy. Beginners too can enjoy Val Thorens with several gentle greens and easy blues scattered around the resort. There is no better all-around ski area anywhere in Europe, possibly the World.

As the resort is traffic-free and purpose-built, most accommodation options offer ski-in-ski-out accessibility. As well as being Europe's highest resort and part of the biggest linked ski area, Val Thorens has gained a reputation in recent years as a lively apres ski destination. The arrival of the raucous Folie Douce and the slightly more chilled Bar 360 mean that your apres ski party begins on the slopes in mid-afternoon. Back in resort you've got a choice of several bustling pubs, including Europe's highest in the Frog and Roastbeef. If you're still thirsty for more then the Alps' biggest underground nightclub, Malaysia, stays open almost until first lifts in the morning!
It's not all partying though. Val Thorens has developed many facilties over the years, including an indoor leisure centre with pool, extensive shopping, ice-driving, the list goes on!
