Overview
The sun soaked island of Kos, is the idyllic setting for our Lakitira Beach Resort. Located on the south of the island, looking out over the glittering Aegean, it combines the leisurely pace of Greek island life with every imaginable activity.
Watersports
For watersports holidays, Lakitira takes some beating. There is a wide choice of dinghies and windsurfers available, and FREE group sailing and windsurfing tuition on offer for adults and children. Normally consistent winds ensure excellent conditions for all watersports, with gentle winds in the morning rising to force 3-5 in the afternoon. For more information on watersports courses see below. We also have a PADI scuba dive centre and pre-bookable courses are available.
Tennis Lessons
Boasting an 11 court tennis centre. Lakitira Beach Resort has been recently voted for the second year running "Best of the Best European Tennis Resorts" by Ace Magazine. There's a daily programme of coaching both private and group lessons. As Well as the specialist "Acadamy Course", which is one for tennis enthusiasts.
Other Activites
There is a daily programme of fitness activites with everything from outdoor aerobics to beach volleyball.
Childcare
Lakitira Beach Resort is a fantastic family resort with superb fully equipped creches, and areas of the resort set aside for children's play areas and activity spots. Childcare for 4mths to 13yrs runs all summer.
