Overview

Hotel Somont is a family-run gem in a prime location, with the convenience of skiing straight from the hotel down a gentle blue run into the resort. The centre is just a 300-metre walk away, with shops, bars and cafés close at hand.

After a day on the slopes, unwind in the spa with its 31°C indoor pool, jacuzzi, Finnish and infrared saunas, Turkish steam bath and peaceful relaxation areas. Individually styled in a modern Alpine design, the rooms combine warm, homely touches with many offering balconies and stunning mountain views, including the iconic Sassolungo.

CIR Twin Rooms are around 23m² and sleep two people. They've been finished in an alpine style and have a balcony, TV and safe.

Sasslong Twin Rooms are around 26m² and sleep up to three people (extra bed is a single bed or a single sofa bed).

Dolomiti Twin Rooms are around 28m² and sleep up to four people (extra beds are either twin beds or a double sofa bed). They are available on request, please call to book.

Twin Rooms for Sole Use are available on request, please call to book.

Catering

Start the morning with a hot and cold buffet breakfast in the hotel's lovely restaurant. In the evenings you can enjoy a three-course meal with choices and a salad buffet. Dishes are typically south Tyrolean with many of the ingredients sourced locally.

Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners are included.

Special diets are available on a request basis. Catering for dietary allergies will need to be checked before booking.

About Selva Val Gardena

Selva is one of the Dolomites' most popular ski resorts, combining spectacular UNESCO-listed scenery with direct access to the 1,220km Dolomiti Superski area. Skiers of all abilities are well catered for, from the large beginner area beside the main gondola to the legendary 26km Sella Ronda circuit, which winds through some of the region's most dramatic mountain landscapes.
