Overview

A modern, Alpine hotel which has a welcoming mountain atmosphere along with great attention to detail and efficient service. The Oswald has been an iconic hotel of Selva for many years and once visited, guests tend to return. The elegant public areas are supported by newly renovated bedrooms.

The Ciampinoi gondola is only 350 metres from the door and there's a free shuttle to get you there in the morning. Additionally, the bus stop is nearby so you can easily make your way between the different areas of the Val Gardena - beginners will enjoy the sunny slopes of Alpe di Siusi or Plan de Gralba, while the more advanced skiers will enjoy one of the longest slopes in the Dolomites, La Longia in Seceda.

Oswald is situated near the centre of Selva, 4 minutes’ walk (350m) to the Ciampinoi gondola.

All rooms have been renovated with modern décor mixed with wood-panelling and classic amenities, with bath or shower, balcony, hairdryer, TV, safe, telephone and free Wi-Fi

Comfort Twin Rooms are traditionally decorated, 30m², and sleep up to four people (extra bed is a double sofa bed - only available when booking for three or four people).

Comfort Single Rooms are similar style and around 21m².

Start your day with a buffet breakfast in the panoramic dining room. Choose between pastries, cakes, local bread from the bakery, homemade jams, yogurts, meats and cheeses, and freshly prepared egg dishes.

You'll get a choice of four courses for dinner with local and international dishes available. There's a weekly Tyrolean dinner and a great wine list to complement your meal.

Complimentary tea and cake is served every day between 3pm and 5pm.

About Selva Val Gardena

Selva is one of the Dolomites' most popular ski resorts, combining spectacular UNESCO-listed scenery with direct access to the 1,220km Dolomiti Superski area. Skiers of all abilities are well catered for, from the large beginner area beside the main gondola to the legendary 26km Sella Ronda circuit, which winds through some of the region's most dramatic mountain landscapes.
