In the heart of the world-renowned resort of Kitzbuhel in the Austrian Tyrol sits the impressive, family-run 4* hotel Goldener Greif, in a traditionally decorated historic building only 200m from the Hahnenkamm lift and 50m from the nearest ski bus stop.

The hotel offers plentiful charm throughout its public areas as well as in the beautifully-presented bedrooms, of which there are 38 laid out over multiple floors.

Description

Standard and superior double rooms are available, each styled slightly differently while retaining a certain elegance and sophistication and all offering mountain views. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with bath tub and WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, radio, safe and minibar.

You'll be hosted on Bed & Breakfast basis at the Goldener Greif, which includes an excellent and extensive buffet of fresh hot and cold produce that is handily served until midday, in case you're not up for first lifts.

The hotel has a bar and à la carte restaurant where evening meals can be booked locally. Alternatively you'll have no shortage of options for eating out since the hotel is right in the centre of Kitzbuhel and there are numerous places within minutes of the door to suit all tastes and budgets.

There are a good range of leisure facilities at the hotel. It has a spa and wellness area, open daily and offering a choice of saunas and steam rooms, pool and a solarium. Massages and treatments can be booked at Reception. There is a ski storage room.

The superb location of the Goldener Greif enables you to get to the slopes easily, as well as having a wide range of après-ski bars and pubs nearby. The famous Casino of Kitzbuehel is housed in the same building as the hotel, should you decide to try your hand at some late night poker!
