About Selva Val Gardena
Selva is one of the Dolomites' most popular ski resorts, combining spectacular UNESCO-listed scenery with direct access to the 1,220km Dolomiti Superski area. Skiers of all abilities are well catered for, from the large beginner area beside the main gondola to the legendary 26km Sella Ronda circuit, which winds through some of the region's most dramatic mountain landscapes. Well-groomed slopes and an excellent choice of traditional mountain restaurants complete the experience.
Also known by its German name, Wolkenstein, the village has a distinctive South Tyrolean character, blending Italian and Austrian influences. Family-run hotels, cosy restaurants and a relaxed après scene create a welcoming atmosphere, while activities such as winter walking, climbing, bowling and ice hockey offer plenty to enjoy away from the slopes.
