Description: Tucked away serenely amongst the tall Spruce and Pine trees of Vail, in an almost fairy tale setting, stands the spectacular, large, bright and spacious Chalet Timberline. With a stunning floor to ceiling river rock fireplace and huge windows to admire the outstanding views, plus most rooms having their own en-suite or private bathrooms, this chalet is truly a hidden gem in this world class ski resort. Wifi is available.
Timberline also offers a secluded outside terrace with its own
bubbling hot tub for you to relax in after a hard day on the slopes.
All in all, Chalet Timberline is the perfect retreat for you to fully
experience the many wonders and amazing skiing Vail has to offer.
Location:
Chalet Timberline is in a superb location, with the ski bus stop only a 4
minute walk away (approx). Access to Vail Village and the incredible
skiing is easy and convenient, taking just 10 minutes approximately on
the free skier shuttle. This service runs regularly until 2am with buses
every 20 mins during peak hours.
Chalet Layout:
Entrance level:
• main entrance opening to: large lounge/dining area with
freestanding, centrally located fireplace, LCD TV, DVD and comfortable
seating

First level:
Room 1 = double bed with bath and WC
Room 2 = master suite with king size bed, TV, Jacuzzi bath, separate shower and WC
Room 3 = twin with shower and WC
Room 4= large twin (plus additional single bed) with WC. The bathroom
for rooms 4 and 5 is located on the mezzanine level, accessed through
room 5.
Mezzanine level:
Room 5 = twin loft room with bath and WC.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Rooms 4 and 5, although two separate rooms can ONLY be booked together due to bathroom facilities being shared.
• Room 5 - some noise may be encountered due to the partially open nature of the loft

Rooms 4/5: if occupied by 3 deduct £7 pp/pn, by 4 deduct £14 pp/pn and by 5 deduct £21pp/pn.

About Vail
Vail skiing
With a great snow record and Keystone, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin all being available on the same pass, skiing here is pretty good. The skiing in Vail itself is largely geared towards intermediates, but beginners also have plenty of nursery slopes and some brilliant ski schools. Advanced skiers will love the 'Back Bowls' for powder. Freestyle skiers and boarders are spoilt for choice with snowparks, half-pipes and their own maps detailing the best spots. Beaver Creek, linked to Vail by bus, provides for the more advanced skier, with some superb black runs. As with most North American resorts, the lifts and convenience are exceptional, with queues being a rarity.
Vail ski resort
Vail itself is large, offering a wide range of restaurants, shops and nightlife. Vail also has plenty of off-snow activities, with the free bus making these very accessible. It can, however, be expensive, with prices increasing as you get closer to the lifts. There are a wide range of eateries, some of excellent value, as well as shops and nightlife to excite non-skiers. Denver, the nearest international airport is 2½ hours away. Warning: be wary of altitude sickness mixed with jet lag!
