Set directly on a green slope in La Rosière, Hotel L’Ecrin Blanc offers exceptional ski convenience. Guests can step outside, click in and ski straight onto the Little Saint-Bernard Adventure Trail – a gentle, scenic run that’s especially popular with children and beginners thanks to its tunnels and tree-lined sections. For wider access to the ski area, the nursery slopes, ski school, chairlift and resort centre are all within a comfortable five-minute walk. Off the slopes, the hotel provides a well-rounded range of facilities, including a heated indoor pool, a games room with billiards and a fitness room for those who still have energy to spare.
The property embraces a contemporary alpine aesthetic, with stone and sleek wooden façades set against impressive mountain views. Indoors, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, featuring light wood panelling, soft neutral tones and classic check patterns. Guest rooms are designed with rest and relaxation in mind, providing a comfortable retreat after a day on the mountain.

Rooms
All rooms are non-smoking and have a flatscreen Smart TV, hairdryer and free WiFi. Kitchenettes include a fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, toaster, microwave and dishwasher. Daily cleaning and a light end-of-stay clean is included.
Please note: All rooms should be left clean and tidy. If additional cleaning is required, a charge may be deducted from your security deposit.
When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €500 by credit card for each room on your booking.

About La Rosière 1850
La Rosière skiing
La Rosière is built in traditional chalet style high up on the road from Bourg-St-Maurice to the Petit St Bernard pass to Italy. There’s a main village and a newer satellite (Les Eucherts), a short bus ride – or a floodlit forest walk – to the east. La Rosière is lift linked with the Italian resort of La Thuile and has a great snow record. The two resorts, although unlikely stablemates, form a substantial ski area with plenty of long wide runs to please intermediates.
La Rosière also provides a useful gateway to some exciting heli-skiing over in Italy, enabling locals and ski holiday makers in France to heli-ski in Italy to their hearts' content - bookable through the Evolution 2 ski school, before returning to France's Tarentaise Valley. The combined area has 38 lifts and 145km of pistes.
La Rosière ski resort
La Rosière, although purpose built, is a gem of quintessential alpine charm. Off Piste activites are limited, although visitors are happy enough whiling away the evenings in the relaxed bars and restaurants (the Petit Danois is popular and offers Sky tv sports coverage. The locals are friendly and the prices are lower than most other Tarentaise resorts.
