Overview

For a straightforward and family-friendly stay in the Three Valleys ski area, this hotel offers a great-value base with everything you need for a comfortable ski holiday. The location is a real highlight, with a nearby blue run just a short walk away, making it easy to get out on the slopes each morning.

The rooms are simple and practical, providing a comfortable place to relax after a day in the mountains. Mealtimes are equally uncomplicated, with generous buffet-style dining featuring a range of crowd-pleasing dishes. With plenty of choice at every meal, everyone can help themselves to their favourites and enjoy as much as they like.

At the end of the day, the lively bar becomes the heart of the hotel, offering a welcoming space to unwind with a drink, catch up with friends and family, and share stories from the slopes.

Double room (approx. 16-19m²) - sleeps 1-3 (max 2 adults and 1 child up to 10 years): Double or twin beds, single bed (only suitable for a child up to 10 years), private shower and WC.

2 bedroom family room with mountain view (approx. 25-30m²) - sleeps 3-5: Triple bedroom, twin or double bedroom, private shower or bath and WC. Twin beds are provided as standard – if you’d like a double bed, please contact us so we can update your booking.

Twin room with mountain view and balcony (approx. 12-15m²) - sleeps 1-2: Double beds or twin beds, private shower, WC and balcony with mountain views. Twin beds are provided as standard – if you’d like a double bed, please contact us so we can update your booking.

Please note: Single beds are only suitable for one child up to 10 years - children 10 years and over will not be accepted.

Baby equipment is available to hire for babies under 2 years, free of charge, on request (pre-booking required). This includes a cot without an additional mattress, baby bath, high chair in the restaurant, bottle warmer in the laundry room and deck chair.

Bins are emptied and towels are changed once per week. Please leave your towels on the bathroom floor if you'd like them changed.

Childcare

Clubs Les Poussin, Les Renardeaux, Les Pirates Junior and Ados clubs

The Hotel Neige et Ciel has family hols sorted with childcare and clubs for all different ages. Club Les Renardeaux is for kids aged 3-5 years, and for older ones aged between 6 and 17 years, you’ve got the Les Pirates, Junior and Ados clubs. All clubs have English-speaking staff.In Les Renardeaux, there are themed activities all week, with arts and crafts, songs, dances and an afternoon party to cap off each day. Then at the end of the week, all the kids put on a show for the parents.

The Les Pirates, Junior and Ados clubs have a separate area in the hotel for the older ones where they can hang out together. And throughout the week, there are games, sports challenges and discos for them to get stuck into.

Childcare options

Les Renardeaux are open all season from Sunday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm, plus one evening per week from 5-10pm. Les Pirates is available during French school holidays, Sunday to Friday from 8.30am-5pm. Junior and Ados clubs are only available during French school holidays during the afternoon and evening.

Please be aware that there's an extra charge for Les Poussins club, while all other clubs are included.

You'll need to reserve when you arrive, subject to availability, as this service is run by the hotel themselves.

About Les Ménuires

Located at 1815 m, the ski resort of Les Menuires is part of the prestigious 3 Vallées, the world's biggest ski area: 600 km of ski slopes. 200 ski lifts linking Les Menuires and the charming village of Saint Martin de Belleville with Val Thorens, Méribel, La Tania and Courchevel. A fabulous huge ski area designed so that everyone, from beginners to experts can make the most of their skiing. Residences on the piste, shops sheltered in the shopping arcades, different quarters linked with footpaths and mechanical lifts. In Les Menuires, everything has been thought out to simplify life for young and old.

Beginners are very well catered for and the resort is certainly amongst the cheapest in the pricey Trois Vallées. The skiing is great for all abilities, with particular mention going to La Masse, which offers advanced skiers some excellent blacks and off-piste and very rarely get crowded, unlike some corners of the Three Valleys. The resort itself is functional, no-frills French. There are some good restaurants and bars in the resort and on the slopes, but the skiing is the real reason to be here. With Méribel and the rest of the Trois Vallées on your doorstep, the variety of slopes available is superb. Access isn't bad with the TGV stop at Moutiers only 27km away and Chambéry airport a 90-minute journey.

Overall, Les Menuires provides a great range of skiing both around the resort itself and on neighbouring slopes. And for ten years, to suit this overwhelming landscape, Les Menuires has developed a high-standing accommodation programme over the past few years, with traditional chalets out of wood and stone.
