The Whistler Sabbatical Project has now ended and on 20th February, Luke Dillon from London was announced as the winner.

Luke has chosen from the following 15 fantastic experiences to tailor-make the ultimate sabbatical. If you're planning a ski holiday to Whistler, have a look through the following videos and you just might find some inspiration.

The Squamish Lil'wat people dance as a means for telling their stories, but that's not all. In some cases, it's used for a little healthy competition.

Whistler siren, Ali Milner has taken Canada's music scene by storm. The 21-year-old recording artist is graduating from Whistler's stages, but continues to find inspiration in the mountains that raised her.

Whistler's a town that runs on adrenaline. So when you're feeling like it's time to take a breather, this little piece of heaven is likely the answer. The Scandinave Spa offers up a different kind of challenge: unplug.

Napoleonic tradition saw a bottle of champagne sabred the eve before a battle. While a day in Whistler is hardly a battle, an evening in the Bearfoot Bistro is still a great way to get yourself psyched up for what's to come.
