Attitash Bear Peak , United States

Between them, Attitash (Native American for blueberry) and its companion mountain, Bear Peak, have a little of everything. After a $32 million facelift, Attitash has doubled in size and now has 37 trails. Although Bear Peak, developed just six years ago, has its share of challenges among its 23 trails, like Avenger and Broken Arrow Glade, the mountain tends to offer gently rolling terrain like Wandering Skis, a recently cut gladed run almost 3.5km long. Attitash, with its new Flying Yankee high-speed quad, presents sterner stuff like Tim's Trauma and Tightrope. And a narrow, lunging, roller coaster trail called Idiot's Option. Can't imagine why it's called that…
