What's Happening in the 3 Valleys

relaxing ski holiday in the three valleys

The 3 Valleys Ski Area is home to 8 eight different areas comprising family friendly and sporty facilities, exclusive resorts and authentic alpine villages: Courchevel, Val Thorens, La Tania, Méribel, Brides-Les-Bains, Les Menuires, Saint Martin de Belleville and Orelle are magical and renowned names in ski circles. The 3 Valleys offer 600 km of interconnected slopes served by 183 lifts, including 2 cable cars, 33 gondolas and 38 high speed detachable chair lifts that can transport 260,000 skiers per hour, plus 120 km of cross-country ski trails. Because of its size and the fact that 85 per cent of the area lies above 1800 metres, with the highest point culminating at 3230 metres, good snow is guaranteed. What's more, there are 25 accessible summits, 10 of which are in excess of 2500 metres! There's an astounding mix of terrain from fir forests to high glaciers, where both experts and beginners will be satisfied with the amount of piste dedicated to each-not to mention five terrain parks and thousands of hectares of the best off-piste.

Another benefit of size is diversity: in the 3 Valleys you will find a wealth of après-ski and international night life; an abundance of spas, wellness and beauty centres; activities such as sports centres, toboggan runs, cinemas and shopping. Plus, there are no less than six Michelin-starred restaurants in Les 3 Vallées, all accessible on skis-after all, what would some of the world's best skiing be without some of the world's best food?
